- KIDS CLASS Our kids class starts at about age 3 ½ and goes up to and including age 12. The classes teach the principals of Choi Kwang Do as well as listening, paying attention, responsibility, manners, self-control and good sportsmanship. Our professional instructors use not only focus drills and agility games to enhance your child's training but also our teaching techniques build enormous confidence for your child with possitive reinforcement.
- BLACK BELT CLUB Black Belt club is for adults and kids alike. Basically those that know that they are committed to getting their black belt are in this elite club. Soon announcements will be going out to Black Belt Club members only that will be special fun outings and events.
- S.T.O.R.M. Team S.T.O.R.M. is for kids that are at least 12yrs of age to 13 that wish to someday be Assistant Instructors. They are Black Belt Club members as well but are more like Junior Instructors. They are to exude leadership, excellent control, as well as an even more intense mastery of the techniques of Choi Kwang Do.
- DEMO TEAM Our Demonstration Team for kids, teens, and adults is growing more and more. In order to be on the DEMO TEAM you have to be in the Black Belt Club and you have to commit yourself even further to some VERY intense training. Demo Team is to the model student of our school because they are the ones that the public will see and hopefully want to emulate.
- ADULT AND TEEN Teenagers actually begin training with the adults at the age of 13 in the Adult Class. Adult Class is meant for focused learning of the Choi Kwang Do techniques for self-defense situations as well as whole body wellness.
- ASSISTANT INSTRUCTOR Assistant Instructors begin to be eligible at the age of 14yrs old and are truly apprentices to a Chief Instructor. They are certified by Choi Kwang Do Martial Art International but are taught by their Instructor on how to teach classes as well as individuals on their techniques. Their instruction is more in depth than a normal student so that they understand as much as possible about Choi Kwang Do and its techniques and philosophies.
- CHIEF INSTRUCTOR At Choi Kwang Do of Duluth, Jason Bowen is the school owner. However there are also Black Belt Chief Instructors that were certified at Choi Kwang Do Headquarters and that are capable and expected to run kids and/or adult classes from beginning to end. One must be 18yrs of age or older to be certified once you have attained your Black Belt. Being a Chief Instructor of your Choi Kwang Do school is one of the highest honors your Instructor can offer you primarily because it is an opportunity to give back to the art by helping others make it to their black belts.
- ADVANCED TRAINER This is a new program in Choi Kwang Do and there will be more details coming soon.
